Automating data analysis for probing of magneto-optical defects in molybdenum disulfide monolayers

Abstract

Photoluminescence spectroscopy data is collected for molybdenum disulfide monolayers to determine the magneto-optical response of localized defects. Manual analysis and visualization of this spectroscopy data is inefficient and time-intensive, so a Python automation procedure is introduced to fully process and plot raw data with minimal user input. Time spent on data analysis was reduced significantly, and the same automation procedure can be used for future magneto-optical analysis of different 2D TMDs.
