Abstract
This paper aims to document the vanishing mid-century signage of Delaware, in the hopes that arguments towards their preservation may gain acceptance. This paper details what specifically makes these signs special in both form and function, as well as what they mean to the communities they inhabit. This paper also details the current signs that are most worthy of preservation, as well as the threats facing their existence, in doing so advocating for the recognition and protection of these landmarks.
